Do you know of any medication assistance available for HIV drugs? My dad has HIV and we are unable to afford the medications anymore. They are over $1000 a month. Please let me know if their is any assistant programs.

Thanks for your post.
There are several different patient assistance programs in the US that help in paying for HIV medications. I'd work with your father's case manager or AIDS Service Organization (ASO, check out ASOfinder.com or the yellow pages).
In many cases, patients can qualify for governmental assistance and/or pharmaceutical company assistance programs. If your father takes tipranavir (Aptivus), the ritonavir (Norvir) is provided free (irrespective of income) from Abbott Laboratories.
Best of luck, BY
Should I be taking any medication for shingles?
