hiv dont exists?
Dec 15, 2007

hi there is it true that hiv dont exists in lab? and drugs do called arv kill people taking them long term?

Response from Dr. Young

Not true at all.

HIV can be photographed, isolated and analyzed in the laboratory.

ARVs (antiertroviral) medications are generally very well tolerated and reverse the damaging effects of HIV. In rare cases, severe side effects can occur, very rarely, these side effects have resulted in death. Such fatal side effects usually emerge in the short term (usually allergic reactions); for persons who are tolerating their medications, long term safety is very good and not associated with longer term lethal effects.
