Generic versus Proprietory Drugs
Nov 20, 2007
I come from a country where HIV people are looked down upon and meds very expensive. HIV patients are treated as less than humans.
My question is: are generic meds just the same as proprietory ones? I am thinking of going to Thailand for treatment where generics are avaliable. Thank you.

Thank you for your post.
I agree with you that access to HIV and medications is a global problem.
Generic HIV medications in Thailand are typically certified by international organizations and as such, would be equivalent to name-branded ones in the West.
Best of luck, BY
