|if a cure
Sep 1, 2007
I was wondering, what would happen should there really be a cure? What would happen to the doctors, experts, organizations who make money from helping people?
Response from Dr. Young
First, if there really was a cure, I'd spend my time making sure that every person, everywhere in the world had access to the cure. (We have effective medicines for HIV already, yet the vast majority of people in the world still don't have access to them.)
Then, should such a magical day come where everyone had that cure, I'd spend a lot of time with my family, read a good book and wait for the first snowflakes to fall in the mountains of Colorado.
URGENT, should I start right now?
