HIV+ Live and Work in Mexico
Mar 28, 2007
I am planning a move to Mexico to live and work. Almost 7 years positive and things under good control. I recently changed meds to Atripla. My question is can I get Atripla in Mexico and what can I expect to pay per month?

Thanks for your post.
In general, the standard of care for HIV in Mexico is quite good. Most HIV medications available in the US are available in Mexico, but Atripla isn't. The good news is that all the components of Atripla are available-- Truavada and efavirenz (Stocrin). Unfortunately, I can't tell you how much medications would cost there, I'm sure it would depend on eligibility for government programs.
