Being safe around someone with AIDS
Feb 27, 2007

My brother in law has AIDS. He just told my husband that he has hed HIV for years but his white count is very low and they gave him 6-9 months. When he is over and around my kids what things do I need to worry about. Other than sex and drug use, is there any way we can be infected by him?

Response from Dr. Young

Sorry to hear about your family member. Other than sex, drugs and blood exposure, there's little to worry about.

Best of health to your kin. BY
