Response from Ms. Salisbury
Hi , A fusion inhibitor works on the HIV virus to prevent it from entering the T-cell. It binds to part of the virus call the GP-41. Once contact has been made with the virus on the T-cell, infection occurs rapidly. Fuzeon prevents this process. It does require administration by injection twice a day. You can read more about this treatment by going to "thebody.com" and selecting fusion inhibitors. Carol | ||||||||||
