STD Tests and Vaccines.

Aug 15, 2006

Hello Doctor's.

Thank you for providing comfort through your wonderful resource online. I have learnt a lot.

I am a male 36 recently diagnosed February 2006. I had a negative result in June 2004. Therefore I surmise that I have been positive anytime in the last two years or so, as has my female partner.

Are there any other vaccines that you would recommend, or STD tests that we should have at this stage. Both our CD4 counts and viral load results show no cause for concern at this early stage.

Hepatitis A/B Vaccine

Hepatitis C Test

Influenza Vaccine Polio Vaccine Tetanus Vaccine Typhoid Vaccine Syphilis Test TB Chest X-Ray PAP/Smear test

Thanking you in advance from Thailand.

Response from Dr. Young

Thanks for your post.

You've got a pretty comprehensive list of possible medical interventions.

Best of luck, BY
