Just Positive Jun 3, 2006 I am newly diagnosed and not sure where to go for a physician who is up-to-date on all meds, information etc. I haven't gotten cd4 and viral load information back yet but I know it will be very bad. Can you help me? I am in the Sacramento, CA area |

 Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Though it can be tempting to conclude the worst, I'd wait to see your CD4 count before concluding that your situation is "very bad". In Sacramento, there's excellent HIV care at the UC Davis Medical Center and at the Kaiser Permanente group-- Dr. Jason Flamm (an occasional contributer to TheBody.com) is at the later.
