Feb 25, 2006
As we were making love with my partner today, the condom broke and so there was contact between my private part and his private part.Same day I got ASPEN lAMZID,can it prevent mefrom contactingHIV?i Always used contraceptive during sex

Apen Lamizid, is an African version of Combivir (AZT+3TC). Were your partner HIV-infected and there was significant risk of HIV transmission (he ejaculated into you), this medication can be used to prevent infection.
If there was brief contact between your genitals, I might be less inclined to take this medication. I would get an HIV test now (as should your partner) and if you are both negative, there is less concern and practially no risk if you are both mongomous with each other.
