Over active liver enzyme and eye floaters
Feb 14, 2006
I am 26, and have a CD4 of 446 and Viral of 110,000 or so and not on medication.
I have an over active liver enzyme which flucuates but am not on HIV medication. I recently have had eye floaters in my left eye and am concerned that this is a problem related to my liver. I am having my eyes tested jsut to check my my Doctor looked in them the other ay and siad that it was not a detached retina?
Let me know if i should worry? and what the cmoplications are?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your post.
I'm no ophthamologist (I can barely spell the word, anyways), but as far as I know there's no relationship between liver inflammation (elevated liver function tests) and visual floaters. BY
