STATUS UPDATE!
Jan 23, 2006

I just went for my 2nd follow after starting my meds 10/3/05... My status started with CD4 285 and VL 86,000. On 10/31 my CD4 was 330 and my VL was undetectable. My recent bloodwork 2/16/06 came back and my CD4 is 651 & I am still undetectable. I am currently taking Sustiva & Truvada 1x a day. I've been very adherent & really conscious of washing my hands at home & work during this cold/ flu season.... knock on wood, I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO HASN'T BEEN SICK!! For everyone wondering if it's worth it in the end, heck yea!!

Response from Dr. Young

Thanks for your post and words of encouragment.

I'm sure that others willl find your experiences heartening (or was that HAARTening?).

Be well, BY
