waiting for single pill sustiva/truvada Jan 23, 2006 This is a follow up. I heard on TV news that this new pill will probably cost the same as it was sold separate. Not a good news at all Jan 23, 2006 alive and well w/ sustiva/truvada but my copays are becomming more than I spend on food! does anyone have an educated guess when the much anticipated combintation pill might be made actually be available? (I think it should be named struvidas) Response from Dr. Young Thanks for your post. I think before year's end (probably much sooner), we'll see the triple, once-daily pill. BY |

 Not sure if it's good or bad-- I'm happy that the price remains the same as the components, rather than at a price premium. It has been the industry practice to keep prices the same in co-formulated drugs (but not decrease). The later was the case for the new formulation of Kaletra, whose price went up nearly 10% following the tablet reformulation release. BY | ||||||||
