opiate false positive Nov 1, 2005 I work in the substance abuse field - primarily w/ gay men. I know using Sustiva can result in a false positive for THC - but what other HIV meds can result in false positives for what other drugs? For example, I have client who has just tested positive for opiates. We are very non-punitive when clients test positive and I tend to believe this client in particular. But the only meds he is on are HIV meds. thanks |

 Thanks for your post. I'm not aware of any antiretroviral medications that would lead to a false-positive opiate (or other) test. BY | ||||||||
