| Negative/Undected? Sep 17, 2005 Morning doctors... Question: If someone is HIV+ and has currently taken medication so that their HIV is "undetectable," would they still get a Negative result on a Rapid HIV Test (i.e. on a Home Access, OraSure, etc)? Mike, if a person is HIV+, irrespective of their viral load, HIV tests (including the oral tests) will be positive. BY | |||||||||
