what about italian anti tat hiv therapeutic vaccine? i read some news about phase 1 anti tat vaccine trial in italy / barbara ensoli doc/ is it therapeutic and preventive.. 100 % of the people tested has antibody response and 93% of non infected people has cellular response and 83% in hiv+ has cellular response.. these data have been pubblished last week officialy.... it seems that all the infected people tested with this anti tat vaccine have no more detectable veremia.. it would be a dream , a really dream... the holy graal of hiv cure... i know it is only phase 1..but this results may confirm that a really cure for hiv is possbile very soon... did you get some more information regard this italian anti tat vaccine?

There was a new report in July about positive results of this phase 1 study. I don't know where the data was presented though. Do you have the citation or meeting? What will be important is what percentage of the HIV infected subjects had reduction in viral load in response to the vaccine. Regardless, it is always a positive sign when an agent makes it through phase 1 studies.
