Starting treatment or wait? May 5, 2005 Hello, Can you please give me your input about what you think about my lab results and when to start treatment? First labs 2/2005 256 CD4, 23%, 1900 VL 3/2005 296 CD4,20.8%, 5600 VL, last labs 4/2005 322 CD4,21.6%, 16800 VL. My doctor thinks I should wait with treatment because of low VL. I feel very good, but have minor yeast infection and white tongue in the morning. What would you recommend if I would be your patient? Waiting with treatment or starting it? Thank you soooo much for your input. :) |

 Your lab results are in a range in which it is acceptable to either wait or treat. Since you feel very well with only minor symptoms I would tend to go along with the recommendation of your doctor to wait and see how things go. | ||||||||
