How much impact does HIV or the medication have someone's working live in the first 5 years.
Can he or she work as normal while on medication especially with all the side effects these drugs have?
| Response from Dr. Young
I see no reason why an asymptomatic persons with HIV who starts contemporary medications should have any significant impact on their ability to work.
It's really important for our readers to appreciate that the majority of patients have few or no side effects from the current generation of medications. Maybe it's time again for our readers who are doing well to post a comment in support of others who are apprehensive about how common or severe the side effect are. BY
