Hello I have been on meds for about 10 years. I have never had great success on them in terms of numbers. However, I have also never been seriously sick. I should also point out that I have always adhered to all dosing requirments. My last counts were not so hot. T's at about 130 and VL at 80K. I wanted to know where I could look, or if you could help me with trying to get an idea when new meds will come out. For example, when does that new PI that is supposed to overcome resistance become available. I really want to wait until I can get on new meds for all three categories. I am not looking for anything exact, just an idea of some date to look forward to. Thanks

Response from Dr. Lee

I recommend you work with your doc and suggest genotyping, etc. to help guide you. There are few really new choices coming soon (as in this year). I think you should work on this now since your T's are relatively low.

Be well.
