Thanks for your question. The percentage of persons that experience side effects depends a lot on how you define them and how severe the side effects are. Moreover, the frequency of side effects varies tremendously from drug regimen to regimen. Suffice to say, that many current treatments cause few or even no side effects in many (but not all) persons who take them. One way to get details of a specific regimen is to go directly to the pharmaceutical company's website-- there you can get a glimpse of the FDA-approved package insert, a place where the frequence of side effects for a particular drug are reported.
