This turns out to be pretty easy-- I typically monitor my patients' CD4 counts (immune status) and HIV viral load (the amount of virus in blood) every 3-4 months. These numbers are the most important in determining your risk of having a HIV-related complication, or, the need to start on medications. BY | |||||||||
