Nov 30, 2003

Dear doctor, please explain: how does a person feel the lymph nodes during primary HIV infection? 1.Are they usually tender or firm? 2.Painfull or swallen? 3.How bigger they are comparing before infection? Regards!

Response from Dr. Young

To all of our readers:

We don't reply to these questions, because this is not a forum to answer questions about: (1) HIV testing; (2) symptoms of acute HIV infetion or (3) risky sexual encounters.

This is the forum about starting HIV treatment-- typically for those who have established HIV infection.

If your concerned about your HIV status, we can't mollify your fears here. Just get tested. If your tests are repeatedly negative, it is highly, highly unlikely that you have HIV.

There. BY

any better treatment?
