Are there any ways to your knowledge to make the virus leave all cells so that the meds can destroy them...are there such drug in the future? Also, I have heard that Echinacea should not be taken when you are HIV+ because it may activate the immune system...if one is already taking medication shouldn`t that be a good thing...to get hte virus out in order to kill it? Thanks

There are some innovative experimental strategies that aim to purge HIV-infected cells of virus so that it can be more easily destroyed. This is a great idea, but probably not coming to our block anytime soon. I don't know about the effect of Echinacea in HIV, no studies that I am aware of.
