Response from Dr. Pierone

Hello Steve, there is a program called ADAP, or AIDS drug assistance program, that pays for antiretroviral medications. Every state has a different system of administration of this program and some ADAP programs have waiting lists, but this is the system that you need to access to get medications. You should check with your medical provider or local AIDS support organization to find out how to apply for this program. Good luck!
