thanks for adding your insight into the affect of other viruses. I actually believe the "other" viral loads REALLY accelerate the disease, and add significant pain. I believe that the fatigue you see in some is actually a load of ebv and cmv...and that this make patients misearable. I am not an ID person but I recommend considering low level ebv/cmv suppression on people experiencing musclepain, fatigue, sweats. Once the other viruses are unleashed due to hampered immunity its like CHRONIC MONO.

Could well be, but there's no clear-cut treatment for EBV and treatments for CMV carry significant risk for toxicity- as such, are reserved for persons with documented end-organ disease (such as retinitis or colitis). -BY
