viral load and resistance
Aug 26, 2002
Hi My vl is about 600 as of two weeeks ago . I am on combivir/viread/viramune. I had another test done a week ago to see whether this is blip. I called my doctor today but he is on vacation until next week, sept 3, and nobody at the doctors office is available to tell me the results from the new test.
I was wondering if my vl will go too high or develop a lot of resistance before I see the doctor next week. That will be about 3 weeks with detectable vl. thanks
Response from Dr. Young
There shouldn't be too much of a problem in waiting, though I'm bothered by the fact that no one is at the office to assst you with the results. -BY
