drug recycleing Jul 19, 2002 I am very interested in recycleing my meds that i cannot take anymore. Some of these bottles only have a day or two worth missing out of them! Can you please send me a link to where i get get info about recycleing in the eastern virginia area. Thank You. |

 A number of individuals and organizations are now collecting and recycling HIV medications. Most of these drugs are being sent outside the US to other countries where treatment access is limited or non-existent. POZ magazine had an article about this a while back and I have attached the links to the article and the accompanying resource page. I would contact some of those listed especially the Whitman Walker Clinic which may be the closest to you. Also, ask your health care provider. She or he may know of a local effort (or maybe you can inspire them to start one!!). Thanks - DW | ||||||||
