Based on recent data, the most potent nucleoside/tide inhibitor is probably tenofovir (followed by abacavir); the most potent non-nucleoside is efavirenz. Bear in mind, though, that these studies reflect the drug as monotherapy-- their use in combination therapy may affect potency (either positively or negatively); moreover, durability (where potency meets the proverbial pavement) relates to tolerability and toxicity in addition to potency.
