which strain?
Apr 21, 2002

Would a genotype test tell me which strain of the virus I had? I did a self-test off the internet, which I think showed an uncommon strain (HIV-O)Thanks, Andrew.

Response from Dr. Young

Yes, many, but not all, HIV genotype tests can tell you which clade of virus that you have. BY
