Dr. Young: why is there some people who do not experience ARS? Is it they do not recall having it or it just never happens to them? Thanks for your reply.

Great question, unfortunately there is not great data on the variation of symptoms that people experience during ARS. We do know much about persons who, for a variety of reasons seek medical attention (usually because of symptoms)-- however, as for those who don't have symptoms or who are detected later, there is less known.
Why this is, seems to be a bit of a mystery, but must relate to the kind of host immune responses that are generated by the virus in the individual. BY
