| Facial lipid bumps Dec 12, 2003 Hi, thanks for this forum. I have a problem with fat deposits in my face causing a bumpy appearance. I sometimes squeeze them and a white lipidy substance comes out which reduces its size or sometimes completely removes them. But I don't know what causes it and what to do about it. I am very healthy, athletic and in my twenties! I would appreciate any words of advice. Thanks Z |

Response from Dr. Moyle
Its hard to tell what these are. It could be just blocked skin glands, these usually contain an oily white substance called sebum that helps lubricate our skin. I would suggest just letting you Doctor have a quick look at them and suggseting what needs to be done. Probably just some gently exfoliation is all that needed Regards Graeme Moyle |
