|deca-durabolin off the market!
Jun 13, 2002
Organon on May 24 decided it would no longer make deca-durabolin for the US market. Is there is thing else that can replace deca?
Response from Ms. Fields-Gardner
Yes, they did and, yes, there is.
What you replace use of deca-durabolin (nandrolone) with depends very much on what you used it for to begin with. While anemia is the approved indication for nandrolone, many of our patients have used it in conjunction with testosterone replacement for weight gain. Nandrolone was not really meant to be used as a testosterone replacement therapy.
The alternatives to achieve weight gain and to assist in improving body composition (in conjunction with adequate testosterone levels or testosterone replacement as needed and a good dose of exercise)include the oral anabolic steroids, such as oxandrolone.
Talk with your health care team about the goals for therapies you are now on to help to determine the right replacement for you. I will also toss this question to Dr. Dieterich to discuss variations in use of anabolic steroids.
