more about humps
Dec 12, 2003

Dr's, I had a small hump before stopping the meds 2 yrs ago. Since then, it has become almost nonexistent - and still seems to be getting smaller. No one would notice (even with a shirt off) except me. Will it ever go completely away? Also wondering if because I had this problem the first go round with the meds, does that me I'm 'predisposed' to this problem in some way if I start the meds again? Looking forward to your response. Thanks for the forum.

   Response from Dr. Moyle

Its hard to guess but these humps seem more common on some meds than others so drug choice is critical. It is possible, however, that some people are predisposed to get them, they occur in the minority of people and are hard to treat when they occur. Regards Graeme Moyle
