Weight loss
Jun 22, 2003
I have recently lost about 5-6 of my body weight within a period of two to three months . Initially I was not aware of it until my friends started commenting about it. When I became conscoiuos about it I even started having some slightly swollen glands under the chin which lasted for 2 weeks or so. My weight has now stabilised a bit.
I must indicate that I have moved to a foreign country. My eating habits have changed dratically as I did not eat regularly and ate little (but have changed now). I also walk almost one to two kilometres daily, climb stairs things I never did back home.
I am imagning things or what could be the problem? please help.

Response from Dr. Moyle

Stresses like moving countries are often associated with weight loss as you are more active and often have altered eating habits. Don't worry about it at present but wait until you are more settled and try to make sure that you are eating plenty as well as having a few extra snacks to help you get the weight back on
Best Wishes
