hgh and epstein barr

i read that lab mice that already had epstein barr virus developed cancers when given hgh injections, because it somehow allowed b cells to travel more rapidly to the lymph glands.
do you think there is a significant risk for this ocurring in humans?

Cancers have been monitored carefully in GH studies in humans but no excess that has concerned the FDA has arisen. People who have had any type of malignancy are always excluded for GH studies to avoid and effect of GH on tumor cells. Most of the population has had EBV (mononucleosis) so I think we can assume that mice and men are once again different
