| Dosage Timing? Sep 11, 2000 Dr. Holodniy: I am currently taking Combivir and Ziagen, twice a day. I try to take them approximately 12 hours apart each day. What effect on my vl will deviation from this schedule have on the medicines ability to control the virus? Does it matter if I take them 10 apart one day and 14 hours apart the next? My last vl was 70 and cd4 795 (28%); I have never had a viral load greater than 26k or cd4 less than 475 (20%). Thank you in advance for your response, I find this site very helpful. LT |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
We don't know what the exact number of hours of latitude are. From my own experience, you are well within the range to maintain the effectiveness of the regimen. MH | |||||||||
