Feb 19, 1999 Question for you doctor, If a patient has 3 elisas all negative 3 PCR DNA's all negative and 1 PCR DNA's Negative, all from different labs, yet this patient has symptoms associated with HIV, would you continue to test him for HIV? These tests were 6 months after exposure. Thanks |

I would not retest. This person does not have HIV infection given the number and type of HIV tests that have been obtained. MH | |||
