hi and thanks, i was pricked with a lancet, the lancet was capped and was in the pharmacy for at least 8 hours (maybe longer)i didnt bleed and do not remember seeing any blood on the lancet, i also dont know if the person who used the lancet was pos. or neg. i took the following tests: 1 month elisa (negative), 6 week hiv rna 2nd gen. (<40copies/ml), 2.5 month dna pcr (not detected), 3 month elisa (negative), and 4 month elisa (negative) have i ruled out hiv completely please help i have a 2 year old (beautiful little boy) whose dad is a mess. no other risks happily married. and thanks again.

I think with the number, type and timing of tests, you have ruled out HIV infection.
