DEAR DOCTOR. I'M VERY TERRORFIED. I JUST TOOK HIV TEST I ORDERED ON INTERNET. I FOLLOWED ORDERS VERY CAREFUL. I SPAT ON PAPER AND RED DOT APPEARED LIKE THE BOOK SAID IT WOULD IF HIV BODIES ARE IN ME. I'M NOW INFECTED I JUST LEARNED BY THIS TEST. GOOD NEWS IS ANTIBODIES I READ ARE TO FIGHT INFECTION. SINCE I DEVELOPE ANTIBODIES I ASSUME MY BODY WILL FIGHT THIS HARD.
THIS IS MY BIG PROBLEM. I KNOW I NEED MEDICATION, BUT I HAVE A BOSS WHO HATES SICK PEOPLE. HE HATES ALL PEOPLE AND IS VERY PREDUDICE. I KNOW HE WILL FIRE ME IF HE LEARN I CARRY THIS. I CAN'T GET FIRED AND BE SICK. I HAVE A SON.
SO I CALL MY STATE AND THE STATE SAYS THAT I CAN GET PILLS FROM THEM SINCE I MAKE LITTLE MONEY AND NO INSURANCE. SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT PILLS SHOULD I ASK FOR? MY HEALTH IS GOOD OVERALL. I WILL TAKE MY PILLS.
I WILL GO TO A DOCTOR WHEN I GET A NEW JOB WITH A BETTER BOSS. I CALLED THE GOVERNMENT STATE AND CCC. THE STATE AND CCC BOTH SAY THAT SALIVA TESTS ARE VERY GOOD TESTS. SO I KNOW I'M INFECTED WITH AIDES.
PLEASE HELP. WHAT PILLS FOR NEW PATIENTS ARE BEST? IF NOT FOR MY SON I WOULD KILL MYSELF. I GOT THIS FROM MY GIRLFRIEND I KNOW SHE CHEATED AND LEFT ME AND OUR SON. I KEEP CALLING THE PLACE I BUY TEST FROM AND NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. SO YOU I ASK.

First, I would have the test repeated by having a blood antibody test done before I believe the diagnosis. Although there is an oral HIV test called Orasure which is US FDA approved, I don't think that is the test you received. If a reputable test does indeed confirm HIV infection, then treatment options can be discussed. MH
