testing questions
Jul 19, 1999

Do you know if the test that they give you when you become pregnant is for HIV I and HIVII? If I have had several Home Access test and the person that I was with had a test right before we were together and that persons partener had a test not long after that and they were all negative, how likely would it be for us to be infected even though severl symptoms are present in all of us? Thank you for all of your valuable time. You are doing a wonderful job.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Home Acess only tests for HIV-1. It depends where you get tested whether they do both an HIV-1/2 test. MH
