doctor,please please help me. I have written you several times and have a new development going on, ok, as you know i have been tested throughout the past 9 months for hiv and no risk during this period and i went to my family doctor 1 week ago because of my dry mouth and funny taste and had him take a look under microscope for yeast and the lady did it and said she saw nothing so he said i DO NOT have thrush so i went back today for the same reason and although my doctor said he sees nothing that resembles thrush and did another test under microscope to prove to me once again that i dont have it, he did not even want to do it ,but to make me happy he did and come back and said the lab reported they "saw a few" SAW A FEW!!! my doctor is a P.A. and i am not real comfortable with his info. sometimes but the real doctor is not available. He said clinically i do NOT have thrush because he sees nothing abnormal that he would consider thrush but the culture from my tongue has very few yeast IS THIS NORMAL? should i be totally worried I AM!~ are just a few normal or what?wouldent my tests be pos. for hiv then?I do not have diabetes or anything else for that matter because i have had a gazilion physicals done and they all come back perfect.i just had my last hiv test last week. That made my 6th hiv test since last exposure, i am seriously considering commiting suicide i cannot take this anymore it is just one thing after another, if you had 10 hiv negative individuals to come in and you did thrush test on them how many would you say would have quote"just a few" (whatever that means) this is such a crisis to me, i know you are just laughing but it absolutely knocked me off my feet i couldent believe it.Please answer the question about how many people out of 10 ok?thanks, SCARED TO DEATH Please tell me your honost opinion my husband is wanting another child and i am afraid to get pregnant, my doctor says get pregnant and do it as soon as i want to because my 6 tests are NEGATIVE i am still scared,your advice PLEASE..........................................

Yeast,like bacteria, are very common on us and inside of us. We have some yeast on our skin, inside our nose, in the vagina and rectum. Yes, I could culture yeast from several people who are not HIV infected, or have other diseases. After 9 months, you have essentially ruled out HIV infection. I would not worry about that lab result.
