i owe you a million:CMV QUESTION Jan 7, 1999 i just got done writing you about the yeast in mouth and whether or not i may ned another test after 9 months and i have one more thought:should i ask my doctor about CMV, that is the only thing i have not been tested for and i want so bad to relate these symptoms (sharp pains in buttocks and all over , feeling of hot flashes, the finding of a few yeast in my mouth, all the things i have already told you) i want to put this puzzle together, my husband also seems to have weird symptoms and he tested neg. also, either he tested too soon, he has CMV or something i have or i am just overreacting to his eveery complaint. Could CMV or EBV be a cause, my doctor has never mentioned it atall, and when i was younger i was tested for mono and did not have it maybe i was exposed and its causing all this? does CMV do this to some healthy people?what all can it cause?hows it transmitted?if i was your patient would you pursue more hiv or test these other viruses? thanks alot. |

 I don't think CMV would be causing this. I also don't think testing for CMV would be of any value. MH | ||
