Dear Dr.

How likely is it to develop HIV Neuropathy in two and a half years if not on any hiv meds in 2 years, had a home access test 3 months after unprotected oral sex. I'm soooo scared please, please answer.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Neuropathy is possible depending on where on the HIV spectrum someone is, meaning the lower the CD4 count, the higher the likelihood neuropathy from HIV or CMV is possible.
