| Stomach Pains a Symptom? May 28, 1999 Hello Doctor, Starting the 12th week after potential exposure, I have been having some stomach/abdomum pain/discomfort. It's not a sharp pain, more of a tightness or a cramp. It hasn't been causing any lack of sleep or other problems with my daily activities, but I still notice this slight discomfort. I went to see a doctor, and he thinks it might be due to stress. I have been under a great deal of stress lately, both with work and with possible exposure to HIV. I tested negative at 9 1/2 weeks and am waiting for the results of my 3 month test. I don't have any other "classic" HIV symptoms, e.g. flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes. Could this be considered an HIV-specific symptom? Thanks |
