| quick to jump to hiv assumption?? Jul 19, 1999 I have been married for 4 years. My husband is in the reserves and gets tested for HIV yearly and has tested negative. I have never been tested and yes, before each other, there were others. We have a yr old, who recently was immunizied for MMR, OPV and chickenpox. Within 4 days after receiving his shots, I noticed a lump in his Rt groin area, about the size of a small lima bean. Took him to the dr, he confirmed it was not there the day he had his 12 mo check up and shots. The doc stated it could be HIV or nothing. My son has never been sick before except for an ear infection at 2 mos. Wouldn't there be something else showing, like more than 1 node? |

Yes. That wouldn't have been the first thing that came to my mind based on your history. MH | |||
