| Necessary Tests Jan 19, 1999 Seven months after low risk ecounter I have tested negative from state labs and via Home A. I also tested negative for Hep. A,B,C at six months. I am not sure what tests the hospital performed but I submitted blood samples if that is pertinent. From previous questions I feel certain that no further tests are neede to rule out HIV but should I retest for Hep. When I asked the Dr. for my results he said " no viral Hep found". I know this question is related to Hep but in light of the comingled Hiv question I felt your opinion would be appropriate. Thank you very much! |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
You do not need anymore HIV testing. Assuming your doctor used a "screening panel" for hepatitis A-C, and these tests were negative, you don't need any further hep testing either. MH | |||||||||
