doctor: you say that 40 million people are infected worldwide with hiv and less than 10 people have been reported to have hiv infection and no antibodies. why is it that i keep reading story after story of people who tested negative on elisa and a couple months later found out they were positive after further testing? i know your probably going to say they might have put themselves at risk at a later time but pesonally if i'm getting tested frequently it means i'm paranoid and i'm not going to put myself at risk. explain this to me like i'm 6 years old.

I'd like to here from all those people, and document their infection in peer reviewed journals. That's just not the way it happpens and their will always be exceptions, like everything in medicine. MH
