3 negative ELISAs over 12 years; now AIDS May 18, 1999 I stopped having unsafe sex 12 years ago; celibate now. I had 2 ELISAs per State Health, then one in hospital with FUO--another negative ELISA. Hairy leukoplakia diagnosed after two biopsies; stinging feet and foot drop. A year later positive ELISA, CD4 173. Is anyone interested in verifiable negative ELISAs? (One ELISA negative after 1 year of AZT & Indinavir and about 4 months of 3-drug cocktail.) This was in 1997. Now still on 3 drug (DMP-266; Abacavir; 1592) cocktail with undetectable viral load, but neuro symptoms persist. Pure Finn descent. |
