| Re: Could baby be infected Jul 12, 1999 In response to the mother's post "Could baby be infected" I thought that as long as the mother was negative that the baby was not at risk and would be negative even though the father is +. Was I wrong? |

As far as we know, that is correct. Unless HIV were transmitted through the germ line (inside the DNA of the sperm) and became incorporated in the fertilized egg. Haven't seen that yet. MH | |||||||||
