|chances of hiv infection
Jul 29, 1999
This is a reverse question of one that was previously asked by someone to you on May 6, 1999. My husband is hiv negative, gets tested every yr due to job and I have never been tested. We've been together in a monogamous relationship for 4 yrs, and had unprotected sex for 3 1/2 of those years, am I safe to presume that I am not hiv+. I have no symptoms or anything, but I am expecting. I have not had sex before we met with anyone that did iv drugs or known to have hiv.

From that history, I think you are safe. I assume you were not tested during a prenatal visit. MH
